JM Goodwin

John Matthew is passionate about leading people in worship so that they can experience the power and presence of the Spirit. He's excited to see people discover the truth of God's Word about being new creations in Christ so that they can walk in freedom and purpose, hope and confidence. Because those things are so foundational to his calling, JM travels in Canada and abroad to preach, teach, pray, and lead worship. God does amazing things as we say yes to Him, and JM has seen the kindness and love of God bring lasting transformation and freedom to people's lives.

Kim Goodwin

Kim is a bright spark of encouragement and joy who has a gift for sharing biblical truth about new covenant life in Jesus. She loves to travel to speak, lead worship, and pray for people. Over the years, she has travelled extensively to share the Gospel, and has seen God do incredible things to heal and restore people's hearts.

Welcome to The We Are Recreated Podcast! We're John Matthew and Kim, and we're beyond thrilled that you've found your way here!

We've been on this wild and beautiful journey with Jesus for quite some time now. Having grown up in the Church and dedicating more than 15 years to full-time ministry, our hearts beat for one thing: sharing the incredibly great news of the gospel. In Jesus we find forgiveness of sins because He died, and new life because He rose again and lives forever!

The circumstances and waves of life are sometimes heavy and hard. We all need hope, and we need power for living! That's why we dive deep into two of life's most significant questions on our podcast: Who is God, really? And what kind of new identity and Holy-Spirit-empowered life does Jesus offer us through the cross?

This podcast is our way of reaching out to you. We want you to know and experience the supernatural, abundant life that God promises in the Word. So, our goal here is simple yet profound: we want to walk alongside you, sharing insights and experiences that encourage and strengthen you on your own faith journey. We're not about just theory or theology (although solid theology is really important, too!); we're about practical, life-changing truths found in the Bible.
